RFF Program Delivery
Utilising the above Learning Programs, SISA offers a specialist RFF program delivery to support the release of classroom teachers for Spirals of Inquiry and collaborative professional learning. The RFF program delivery is a compelling format that delivers engaging and curriculum compliant learning opportunities for you students, whilst providing a unique opportunities to create grade or stage based collaborative release time. The RFF program can be delivered in in 60 or 120 minute blocks on a weekly or fortnightly basis
The key benefits of the RFF Program Delivery are outlined below
The SISA RFF program creates regular and scheduled group release time for your grade or stage teams. SISA operations, including the depth of our qualified teaching team and our extensive program resources, allows in excess of 8 classes, to be included in each session
- The SISA RFF program is delivered by a consistent SISA team applied to each school. This allows our team to be immersed in the school culture and operate according to school policy and expectations
- SISA is obliged and responsible for all staffing for the RFF program delivery every week (including the requirement for any casual replacement). This relieves your school of the need to find ad-hoc casuals to create teacher release. (There is no school responsibility for any teacher scheduling)
- The SISA RFF program provides an alternate to ad-hoc casual teaching support, by enriching the education delivery through the provision of additional learning experiences in the PDHPE curriculum. As a large portion of PDHPE curriculum is covered by SISA, this also provides more classroom time back to your team.
- SISA is responsible for managing all staff related compliance requirements. SISA provides all staff information to schools prior to program commencement
- The SISA RFF program can be delivered in cost neutral / cost beneficial manner, as opposed to the traditional delivery of RFF support and/or external sports programs
Additional Sports Program
The delivery any of our core learning units as Additional Sports program provides the opportunity for schools to implement programs focussed on specific PDHPE requirements. Our learning program can be implemented for a single term, semester or over multiple terms. Furthermore, these programs can be implemented in range of styles including
- Core Program – a 10 week focused program with a single stream of learning for all students (10 weeks of Gymnastics)
- Mixed program – utilising 2 of the above learning units concurrently to provide additional learning experiences for the students (ie a mixed program of Gymnastics and Athletics). In this model, half the cohort per session participates in each stream each week, with the cohorts rotating on a weekly basis
- Differentiated program – providing a differentiated program for K-YR2 and YR3-YR6 to meet learning requirements. In this model, K-YR2 may undertake a PE Health (FMS) program whilst YR3-YR6 may undertake a core Athletics program as preparation for the carnival
Non-PSSA program
SISA provides a delivery format to support Non-PSSA sport. Backed by our extensive program resources, qualified teachers and sports specific coaches, the Non-PSSA program delivery aims to be a compelling “back at school” option for students, teachers and the school.
The program is delivered over a 2 hour session aligned to your PSSA commitments, and is designed to be fully inclusive for all non-PSSA students. SISA provides a full range of innovate and dynamic resources for each session and does not rely on any school based resources. - The program provides a broad range of interactive learning experiences, and can be used to develop core skill sets for PSSA selection or can used to increase skill and confidence in advance of Athletics Carnivals.
