The Role of the Network
The Ryde Assistant Principal Network is a professional network for all Assistant Principals in Primary Schools across New South Wales. The network provides the opportunity for Assistant Principal's to connect with one another with the purpose of coming together, collectively building our leadership capacity to improve learning and teaching in our schools - an investment in the future of NSW students education.
The 4 main priorities of the network for 2019 are to;
1. Develop Leadership Excellence.
2. Provide AP Wellbeing Support.
3. Build Collective Leadership Efficacy.
4. Improve Student Learning Outcomes.
As the network grows, we aim to forge positive partnerships between industry experts and business providers in the educational sector that will enhance Assistant Principal's knowledge and skills to deliver excellent teaching and learning programs in our schools. All members of the Assistant Principal network are committed to driving their own learning to achieve the networks vision - 'New South Wales Assistant Principals are inspirational, reflective school leaders who are well informed and confident practitioners, committed to continuous improvement of student learning'.
